Job summary

The Learning Experience - Gaithersburg is hiring a qualified Preschool Teacher to lead daily routines in a licensed early childhood classroom. You will guide learning through the LEAP Curriculum, create engaging activities, and support preschoolers in building confidence, independence, and social skills.

You will collaborate with teachers and center leadership, communicate with families, maintain records, and ensure a safe, organized learning environment while meeting Maryland licensing

Qualifications

• Must meet Maryland requirements to serve as a qualified Preschool Teacher.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous professional preschool, daycare, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred.
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented.
• Ability to meet all applicable Maryland childcare licensing requirements.

• Follow Maryland childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

Pay: $17-$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
