Job summary

The Greater Susquehanna Valley YMCA is seeking an After School Teacher to join our Early Learning team. You will plan developmentally appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies GOLD, and create engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage curiosity and exploration.

You will foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, observe and assess children's development to individualize learning, and maintain a safe, welcoming classroom while

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; CDA considered.
• Experience with infant and toddler-aged children.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and positive behavior guidance.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
