Job summary

Kamaʻāina Kids in Hawaiʻi seeks an experienced Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of 3-year-olds at Moanalua Preschool. You will create a warm, engaging space where curiosity thrives and children feel safe to explore their world.

In this role you will plan hands-on activities, foster language and social skills, and partner with families to support each childs growth. Weekdays, no nights or weekends; eligible to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CDA, Associate7 or Bachelor1 in Early Childhood Education.
• 612 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare program.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn.
• Plan hands-on activities built around the interests and developmental needs of your class.
• Bring learning to life through art, music, stories, movement, sensory experiences, and outdoor play.
• Help children strengthen language, early learning, motor, and problem-solving skills.
• Encourage independence and give children opportunities to try, explore, and figure things out.
• Help children build friendships, communicate their needs, and navigate the social side of preschool.
• Get to know each child and celebrate the progress that makes them uniquely them.
• Build positive relationships with families and keep them connected to their childs growth.

What We're Looking For

Preschool Teachers

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• 6–12 months of experience in a licensed preschool or childcare program
