Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. in Beaver, PA, is seeking a full-time Preschool Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor (AGS) to deliver quality, developmentally appropriate early education for children of diverse abilities.

This position emphasizes strong communication and teamwork within Lifesteps' community-focused program. The role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, offering a collaborative environment and opportunities to support families through Lifesteps' services and mission of helping individuals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or
• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services with Private Academic license in Nursery/Kindergarten.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to multi-task, work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality-driven, developmentally-appropriate early education experience.
• Functions as a Group Supervisor per Department of Human Services.
• Conducts activities within 8:00am to 5:00pm schedule, Monday to Friday.

Position Summary

The Preschool Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor (AGS) is responsible for providing a quality-driven, developmentally-appropriate early education experience that supports children regardless of their diverse abilities. The Preschool Teacher/Assistant Group Supervisor (AGS) functions as a Group Supervisor per Department of Human Services.

This full-time position works a Monday - Friday schedule of 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education OR
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field and Private Academic license in Nursery/Kindergarten.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to multi-task, work in a team environment.
