Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Preschool Assistant in the Butler area. The assistant provides high quality care to enrolled children and supports daily routines and activities under supervision.

The role requires CDA certification or 2 years of postsecondary study (60 credits) or an associate’s degree or higher, plus strong communication skills and basic computer tasks. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Early Childhood Education and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Candidate shall meet one of the following criteria: CDA certificate or completion of 60 credits in a related field or associate’s degree or higher.
• Must have basic computer skills and strong communication abilities (verbal and written).

Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Preschool Assistant in the Butler area.

Position Summary:

The assistant provides a high quality of care to enrolled children. Ensures the needs of the children are being met and assists in the implementation and direction of daily routines and activities.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm with weekends off!

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Candidate shall meet one of the following criteria:
• Possession of a Child Development Associate’s (CDA) certificate
• Completion of at least 2 years of full-time postsecondary study (60 credits) in a related field
• Possession of an associate’s degree or higher
• Demonstrated ability to complete basic computer tasks
• Possess strong communications skills (verbal and written); able to communicate information to a diverse audience

Preferred:

• One or more years’ experience teaching in an integrated classroom setting
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• Private Academic Teacher Certification in Nursery/Kinder
