Job summary

The Primrose School of Naperville Crossings is seeking a part-time Support Teacher to join our caring team in Naperville, IL. This role supports children across all age groups—from infants to school age—by assisting teachers and maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

In addition to classroom duties, this position helps the Food Service Manager in the kitchen and assists with transporting school-age children to and from elementary school.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in child care (preferred kitchen experience).
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible, reliable, punctual, and a team player.
• Able to professionally speak, write, and communicate with parents.
• Able to relate to both children and their parents.
• Outgoing and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

The Primrose School at Naperville Crossings is currently looking for a Support Teacher. This is a part-time position: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. (Additional hours available if desired.) This support position is a very important role because it involves working with all age groups (infants through school age) as needed each day. Additionally, this person will assist the Food Service Manager in the kitchen each day. Also, this person would be a bus driver who helps transport our school age children to and/or from their elementary school each day.

Candidates must also:

• have at least two years of experience in child care (preferred) _kitchen experience preferred
• must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license
• be flexible
