Job summary

The Primrose School at Naperville Crossings is seeking a part-time Support/Float Teacher (12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., Mon–Fri; more hours available). This role spans infant to school-age care, with potential kitchen assistance and daily bus transport for school-age children.

Candidates should have at least two years in childcare (preferred), be 21+, flexible, reliable, punctual, and a strong team player who communicates professionally with families.

Qualifications

• Two years of childcare experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Flexible, reliable and punctual, with a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to communicate professionally with parents and relate to children and families.

Responsibilities

• Work with all age groups (infants through school age) as needed each day.
• Assist the Food Service Manager in the kitchen each day.
• Serve as a bus driver to transport school-age children to/from elementary school.
• Collaborate with teaching peers and communicate with parents.

The Primrose School at Naperville Crossings is currently looking for a Support/Float Teacher. This is a part-time position: 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. (More hours available if desired.) This support position is a very important role because it involves working with all age groups (infants through school age) as needed each day. Additionally, this person may assist the Food Service Manager in the kitchen each day. Also, this person would be a bus driver who helps transport our school age children to and/or from their elementary school each day.

Candidates must also:

• have at least two years of experience in childcare (preferred)
• must be at least 21 years old
• be flexible
• be reliable and dependable
• be punctual
• be a team player and be ready and willing to work and collaborate with teaching peers
• be able to professionally speak, write, and communicate with parents
• be able to relate to both children AND their parents
• be outgoing and ready to learn!
