Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• NY department of education minimum requirements.
• Birth- Grade 2 certification / Students with disabilities preferred.
• Flexible work opportunities and per diem availability.

Responsibilities

• Design a classroom environment that is motivating and stimulating for students.
• Provide a daily, written lesson plan.
• Maintain progress scales for each pupil and attend case conferences.
• Implement behavior system as approved by treatment team and IEP.
• Submit progress reports to appropriate parties as requested.
• Attend staff and parent meetings/trainings as required.
• Ensure all students are supervised at all times by a responsible employee of the agency.
