Job summary

Granite School District's preschool program seeks a dependable, patient assistant to support 3- to 5-year-old children in a classroom under the Leadership Team.

You will create daily lesson plans from EPS, provide direct instruction in groups, use the We Can! Management system, and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure safe, engaging learning. Excellent interpersonal skills and a HS diploma are required; CPR may be needed. Attendance and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification may be required depending on assigned duties.
• Basic computer skills and strong interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Ability to collaborate and share responsibilities with team members.

Responsibilities

• Create newsletters, calendars, check email, complete online surveys and trainings using basic computer skills.
• Attend and implement monthly Professional Development training.
• Collaborate and share responsibilities with all team members.
• Attend monthly team meetings and follow district policies.
• Provide direct instruction in small and large groups daily and use EPS scope.
• Engage children with enthusiasm, variety, and daily routines.
• Supervise students and maintain safety in all settings.
