Job summary

Stratford School in San Jose, CA is seeking a Preschool Substitute Teacher to support daily classroom instruction and maintain a warm, organized learning environment.

You will cover classroom duties, maintain decor, build relationships with staff and students, and communicate clearly to ensure a smooth operation on short notice. Prior preschool experience is preferred; ECE coursework is required.

Qualifications

• 12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units) including coursework in Child Growth and Development, Child, Family, and Community, and Program/Curriculum.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development or equivalent qualifies you for the role.
• Prior preschool experience is preferred and strong communication/collaboration skills are essential.

What We Offer

Pay range: $25.00 - $27.00

Position located at San Jose, CA

This is an on-call position

What We Are Looking For

• OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development
