Job summary

Lutheran Life Communities is seeking a Teacher Assistant Substitute for Shepherd’s Flock Preschool in Arlington Heights, IL. This role supports the lead teacher and helps create a nurturing, faith-based learning environment for young children, from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

The position is an as-needed, part-time opportunity with hours between 7:30am and 1:30pm. A high school diploma or GED is required, and some related experience or training is welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
• Must be comfortable caring for children who are 6 weeks to 5 years of age

• Contribute as a valued member of the teaching team
