Qualifications

• Para Pro Test or 48 college credits required.
• Associate Degree required.
• Willingness to follow directions and cooperate with staff.
• Experience with children in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance per IEP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers under supervision to support students per IEP and district policies.
• Implement instructional support and ABA-like strategies as directed.
• Support behavior interventions and classroom safety procedures.
• Deliver small-group and individual support in academics, social skills, self-care and vocational tasks.
• Assist with testing, data collection, and documentation of performance and behaviors.
• Provide transportation and movement support for students as needed.
• Operate instructional technology and online platforms (Google Meet/Classroom) in person or virtually.
