Base pay range

$17.34/hr - $18.38/hr

Start Date:

August 8th for the 2025-2026 School Year

Position Type:

Full-time, 162 days per year during a full school year

Location:

McKinley Elementary School

Salary:

Pay is determined by the Instructional Support Salary Schedule based on experience and education, $17.34-18.38 per hour. An additional $50.00 per day if assigned as a certified substitute teacher.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficiency on paraprofessional assessment, AA Degree or equivalent of two years of college classes preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Complete preschool training upon hire.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff, students, and the public.
  • Good reading, writing, and speaking skills to follow directions and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in Lindamood Bell preferred.
  • MANDT Training to be completed upon hire.
  • Pass a pre-employment physical.
  • Willing to obtain a substitute teaching license if needed (paid by district).
Position Duties Include:
  • Demonstrate reliability.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Build positive relationships with peers, students, and parents.
  • Implement schedules and routines under supervision.
  • Support classroom management and perform clerical tasks.
  • Meet the educational and emotional needs of students.
  • Model the District's Mission and Belief Statements.
  • Utilize basic technology as directed.
  • Assist with supervision outside in inclement weather.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to district policies and be available for classroom substitution if needed.
