Assignment Overview

This remote position requires 36 hours weekly supporting students across grades 6-12 with various exceptionalities. Your caseload will encompass 42-48 students needing specialized instruction in academic subjects, social skills development, and transition planning for post-secondary success.

Teaching Responsibilities

Craft individualized educational experiences using multi-sensory virtual teaching techniques. Facilitate IEP team meetings, coordinate with related service providers, and implement accommodations and modifications for diverse learners. Document student progress through comprehensive assessment and data analysis procedures.

Licensing Requirements

Applicants must maintain valid Kentucky special education teaching credentials and Master's degree in Special Education, Exceptional Child Education, or comparable program. Minimum two years classroom experience serving students with disabilities is mandatory. Virtual teaching competency and technology integration skills are valued.
