Job summary

EDU-Aids is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Bethlehem, Pennsylvania team. You will develop and implement IEPs, provide direct instruction in multiple settings, and adapt curriculum to meet diverse needs of students with disabilities.

Collaborate with general education staff, parents, and support colleagues to ensure student success. Maintain records, participate in PD, and foster an inclusive, positive classroom.

Qualifications

• Valid state certificate in Special Education.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction in one-on-one, small group, and whole class settings.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of performance and IEP compliance.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
