Job summary

HTU in Philadelphia seeks a dedicated Special Education teacher to lead the classroom team, develop and implement IEPs, and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment for preschool and early childhood students.

You will collaborate with related service providers to integrate supports, monitor progress toward IEP goals, design engaging lessons, and communicate with families to support growth at home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education.
• Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience with preschool or early childhood special education strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and progress monitoring.
• Strong leadership skills to guide classroom assistants and foster collaboration.
• Excellent communication and family engagement skills.
