Job summary

Qualifications

• Massachusetts DESE certification in Severe Disabilities preferred.
• Massachusetts DESE certification in Moderate Disabilities or Early Childhood will be considered.
• Experience with IEP drafting and progress monitoring through data collection.
• Experience with assessment and eligibility determination.
• Strong organization, writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students in a Special Education setting.
• Have a strong understanding of developmental milestones and modified curriculum at the elementary level.
• Experience with Applied Behavioral Analysis concepts.
• Experience as part of the instructional support team, including classroom teachers, auxiliary support service providers, BCBA and paraprofessionals.
• Experience with IEP drafting and progress monitoring through data collection.
• Experience with assessment and eligibility determination.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
