Family of Kidz is seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist to work with children and families in a preschool setting near Hawthorne, NY. The role involves designing therapeutic interventions, evaluating and reporting on child progress, and coordinating with school teams and families.

The ideal candidate holds AHSA CCC-SLP and NYSED TSSLD/TSHH credentials, with at least one year of relevant experience. Bilingual skills are a plus and a supportive, team-oriented environment is offered.

Qualifications

• AHSA Certification (CCC-SLP) is required.
• NYSED TSSLD/TSHH Certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with children and families.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic interventions for your caseload.
• Administer and write up speech-language evaluations.
• Coordinate with lead supervisors about case management.
• Maintain professionalism with families and school teams.
• Maintain attendance and billing logs.
• Create and manage schedules with families and school staff.
• Collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report quarterly.
• Attend CPSE initial or annual reviews as needed.
• Perform comprehensive evaluations in clinic, home, or preschool settings.
• Write evaluation reports detailing child abilities and difficulties.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and the evaluation team.
• Develop functional goals using IEP guidance.
