Job summary

Default Brand is seeking a Consumer Services Coordinator to support consumers in Riverside South, delivering services under the Lanterman Act. The role involves coordinating IPP-based services, attending meetings, and ensuring consumer rights are protected while maintaining family contact.

The position requires driving within the Riverside South area, including Aguanga, Anza, Temecula, and surrounding communities, with mileage reimbursement provided. A valid CA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or BA/BS with relevant experience is required.
• Ability to handle change and adapt to new priorities and assignments.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have and maintain a valid California driver’s license and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, coordinate consumer services per IPP and program plan.
• Evaluate consumer progress and plan updates.
• Ensure consumers’ rights and dignity in service delivery.
• Maintain contact with consumers and families as required.
• Provide advocacy services and attend relevant meetings (e.g., IEP).
• Coordinate assessments across nursing, medical, psychological/developmental, education, and vocational areas.
• Provide case coordination coverage when needed and update IPP, CDER, and annual reviews.
• Assist in placement of consumers in residential facilities or other programs as clinically indicated.
• Serve as liaison to community agencies and parent groups; attend meetings and share program information.
• Prepare written activity reports for the Program Manager annually.

Education

Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, public health nursing, teaching special education, early childhood development, or related field

BA or BS degree + one year of experience in intellectual/developmental disabilities, social work, or related field

Good verbal and written communication skills

Valid California driver’s license and liability insurance; safe driving record
