Job summary

Colorado Psychiatric is seeking a Preschool Recreation Program Supervisor to lead operations for a city program. You will oversee staffing, curriculum, safety, and parent communications across multiple sites, ensuring quality services for children aged 2½ to 10.

The role requires a strong background in early childhood administration, licensing compliance, and staff development. This is a full-time on-site position with duties across program planning, budgeting, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED with college coursework in early childhood or related field.
• Two years' experience in related program administration or at least one year as preschool director.
• Preschool CDEC, ELDG, Shines, and UPK experience preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and administering the preschool recreation program.
• Lead preschool classes and teach in the classroom at least 60% of time.
• Register participants and manage transfers/refunds of registration and fees.
• Supervise staff; schedule employees and monitor progress; train and develop employees.
• Ensure safety standards and compliance with licensing requirements.
• Develop and implement program goals, policies, and procedures.
