Qualifications

• High school graduate with 18+ years of age and related child interaction experience.
• Some college coursework in early childhood is preferred.
• Current first aid and CPR training or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with attending school in a traditional preschool setting.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, staff and community.
• Help maintain classroom records (attendance, behavior, lunch counts).
• Keep the facility and playground clean and safe at all times.
• Report discipline concerns to lead teacher or principal.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
• Administer medications and complete required state/district documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
