Job summary

Qualifications

• EEC teacher certification with a combination of education and experience (various pathways).
• Motivated, energetic, punctual and responsible.
• Exhibit a positive attitude to be an excellent role model for children and coworkers.
• Ability to teach and interact with parents, employees and coworkers.
• Pass background check (CORI/SORI) and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to children’s learning, growth, and overall development
• Understand and maintain a positive mindset towards child’s learning and social‑emotional development
• Responsive to the needs of infants and toddlers and invests in the well‑being, health and safety of young children
• Actively supervise children to ensure safety indoors and outdoors
• Document and communicate observed situations and behaviors of concern
• Meet EEC requirements for professional development hours each year
• Build respectful relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
• Follow health, safety, and housekeeping procedures in the classroom
