Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in NY with NYSED registration.
• Experience with preschoolers (ages 3-5) preferred.
• Familiarity with CPSE, IDEA, NY special ed regs.
• Experience administering pediatric OT assessments.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT evaluations for preschoolers 3-5 per CPSE regulations.
• Administer and interpret standardized and non-standardized assessments.
• Assess fine motor, gross motor related to function, visual perceptual, sensory processing, self-care, and school readiness.
• Prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports with findings, eligibility recommendations, and goals.
• Maintain accurate records per district, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure evaluations are completed within required timelines.
• Adhere to professional standards, ethics, and confidentiality.
