Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support preschool students (ages 3-5) in a school setting near Northampton, PA. This full-time contract role offers five days per week of dedicated early intervention services.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized plans, document progress, and ensure IEP compliance. Competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania OT or COTA license required.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Comfort working with preschool children aged 3-5.
• Strong communication with parents, teachers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized plans.
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to preschoolers in a school setting.
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student independence.
• Assess students, set goals, and document progress.
• Deliver services per IEP requirements and maintain records.
• Contribute to team meetings and consult with staff on adaptations.
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
