Primrose School of Aliana in Richmond, TX seeks an experienced Director of Operations to lead school operations, licensing compliance, staffing, and health and safety for a licensed childcare center. This senior role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on accountability, with collaboration across ownership and education teams.

The position emphasizes proactive problem-solving, operational excellence, and strong communication, with opportunities for expanded leadership as the school grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of successful Director-level experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool (REQUIRED).
• Prior experience as a Center Director/School Director strongly preferred and will receive priority consideration.
• Director-level experience in a franchise or multi-site childcare organization strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards.
• Current Texas Child Care Director Credential and ability to meet applicable Director qualification requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with staffing, ratios, scheduling, employee relations, performance management, licensing compliance, and daily center operations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily school operations and licensing compliance with Texas standards.
• Keep licensing records, staff documentation, drills, inspections, and compliance calendars.
• Manage staffing, classroom coverage, schedules, breaks, attendance, and call-outs.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and employee training.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence and support teachers and staff.
• Coordinate health, safety, facilities, and emergency procedures.
