Essential Functions

1. Manage classroom ensuring compliance with all MSDE-OCC regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
2. Create a welcoming environment for children, parents, and visitors.
3. Maintain attractive and current classroom displays and an informative Parent Board.
4. Develop and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with weekly themes and curriculum.
5. Supervise children during activities and use positive discipline techniques.
6. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the classroom environment.
7. Complete all required paperwork accurately.
8. Support and guide assistant teachers to ensure smooth classroom operations.
9. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's development and classroom updates.
10. Identify opportunities or issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.

Qualifications

Physical Demands: The role requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
