Greater Somerset County YMCA's Somerset Hills YMCA Early Education Center seeks a Lead Teacher in the Preschool classroom to execute a structured, engaging curriculum and support kindergarten readiness.

The ideal candidate will have a CDA credential or a Bachelor’s in Education with teaching certification, plus strong communication with families and classroom management skills. Center hours: 7:30am–6:00pm; scheduled 7:15am–3:15pm; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• CDA Credential or Bachelor’s Degree in Education and/ or Teaching Certificate is required.
• Experience with infants, toddlers, or preschool children is preferred.
• Strong communication with parents is essential.
• Ability to plan and implement curriculum and manage the daily flow of the day.
• Must be independent and able to run the classroom autonomously.
