Cadence Education in Elkhorn, NE seeks a Preschool Lead Teacher to create an inclusive classroom and deliver developmentally appropriate curricula. You will partner with families and staff to support each child’s growth and ensure safety and compliance with licensing standards.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or credentials such as CDA/CCP. State licensing requirements and 6–12 months of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers in a licensed childcare center.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including IEPs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate with families and leadership.
• Maintain a safe and well-supervised classroom.
• Accurately document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors.
• Follow all Cadence Education policies and procedures.
• Participate in trainings and meetings as needed.
