Job summary

Cadence Education is hiring a Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. Under the direction of the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, developmentally appropriate learning environment and deliver curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.

This full-time role requires strong English communication, classroom management, and the ability to collaborate with families. An associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education is preferred, plus state licensing

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs (including IEPs).
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence-required systems and communication tools to communicate with families and leadership.
• Maintain a safe and well-supervised classroom following policy and licensing rules.
• Report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors as required.
• Participate in trainings and meetings outside regular hours.
