Cadence Education in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to foster a warm, inclusive classroom where every child is treated with dignity and care. You will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, assess and report progress, and partner with families and colleagues to support each child’s growth in a safe, licensed childcare setting.

Preferred qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, state licensing eligibility, and 6–12

Qualifications

• Ability to follow all safety procedures incl. Safe Sleep and allergy protocols.
• Ability to manage a classroom with consistency, structure, and care.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilités

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and communicate daily.
• Recognize diverse development and learning needs and implement required plans (IEPs, behavioral plans).
• Plan and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.
• Use Cadence systems and tools to communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Maintain a safe, well-supervised classroom following policies and licensing.
• Document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy.
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and participate in trainings and meetings.
