Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of Pre‑K students.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to enhance curriculum and classroom activities.
• Facilitate daily routines, including circle time, snack, and outdoor play.
• Promote social and emotional development through play‑based learning and structured activities.
• Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom events.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Master’s Degree perferred.
• New York State teaching certification for early childhood education.
• At least 1 year of experience teaching in a preschool or early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and age‑appropriate teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
