St. Joseph Parish School is seeking a part-time Preschool Lead Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, working 12:00–3:30 p.m. with potential 3:30–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DCYF preservice requirements for early learning professionals.
• ECE Initial Certificate or equivalent within DCYF/WAC timeline.
• ECE Short Certificate or equivalent within DCYF/WAC timeline.
• ECE certificates must be verified through DCYF registry.
• Maintain required professional development annually.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices.

• Lead the afternoon preschool program as Preschool Lead Teacher.
• Provide care during Extended Care as needed.
• Create a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
