The role covers morning and early afternoon shifts, with part-time hours across multiple days, requiring collaboration with a co-teacher and the Director to meet program goals and ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Wisconsin DPI teaching license that includes Pre-K (4K).
• Warm, approachable demeanor for connections with children and families.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, families, and the Director to reach program goals.
• Professional behavior and clear communication with children, families, helpers, and staff.
• Experience supervising and caring for young children and readiness to work with a co-teacher.

Responsibilities

• Develop curricula aligning with UHP's philosophy and goals.
• Provide care and supervision for your group, ensuring safety.
• Build positive relationships and encourage socialization.
• Create an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere and celebrate individuality.
• Offer feedback and support to promote growth and independence.
• Coordinate with co-teacher to ensure representation at Board meetings.
• Support compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.
• Take on additional tasks to support program success.
