Job summary

NLCS is seeking an Instructional Aide to support Preschool classrooms by nurturing curiosity through purposeful experiences and safe, engaging activities.

You will assist teachers with curriculum, foster positive relationships with families and staff, and help maintain an organized, clean classroom that meets licensing requirements.

Ideal candidates love children, work well with others, can multitask, and are committed to confidentiality and high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• A love for children and a desire to make a difference every day.
• Works well with others.
• Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectively.
• Strong organization skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain)
• 1+ year of Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)
