Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is seeking an Educational Coordinator to manage Nevada Ready! and ECLR grant programs across ELCs and Alliance sites. You will ensure compliance, coordinate literacy initiatives, and support school readiness for children and families.

The role requires knowledge of early childhood education, grant administration, and strong coordination with state agencies and local partners. Travel within Nevada is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preschool CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Six months to one year teaching in preschool, pre-K, or kindergarten preferred.
• Experience with NV Ready programming highly preferred.
• Administrative experience or grant experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage NR!PK and ECLR grant implementation across ELC and Alliance sites.
• Serve as liaison to state education agency staff and coordinate meetings.
• Maintain subgrantee documentation, grants, budgets, and reimbursements.
• Monitor grant expenditures with Finance for allowable use of funds.
• Prepare reports and data submissions to NDE and other funders.
• Coordinate literacy and school readiness initiatives across locations.
• Provide guidance on grant compliance and staff training.
• Support family engagement activities funded by grants.
