Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is seeking a Nevada Ready! Pre-K Teacher to deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction in a BGCSNV Early Childhood Learning classroom. The role leads curriculum implementation, child assessment, and family engagement to ensure positive outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a NV ECE license, appropriate registry credentials, and experience in licensed settings. A Strong collaboration mindset and ability to work with diverse families are essential.

Qualifications

• NV Department of Education Early Childhood Teaching License is required.
• Nevada Registry Level 5.2+ or an approved ARL/TEACH pathway is preferred.
• Bachelor's in ECE/ECSE or equivalent credentials are required.
• Experience in licensed child care environment is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate instruction aligned to Nevada Ready! Pre-K standards.
• Lead classroom quality, including safety, organization, and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Maintain records, assessments, and required documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
• Engage families and collaborate with staff and community partners to support child outcomes.
• Coach for ongoing professional development and ensure compliance with licensing and program requirements.
