Job summary

Cadence Education in Ankeny, IA is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will support daily classroom operations and the implementation of Cadence Education programs, creating a safe, nurturing environment that meets the physical, social, and emotional needs of children, including those with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain required background clearances and health screenings.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families, building welcoming relationships.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Support routines and licensing compliance.
