Cadence Education in Bondurant, IA seeks a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. Under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you’ll support daily classroom operations and implement Cadence programs that nurture curiosity and development.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred or state licensing meets requirements.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.
• Ability to obtain background clearances and health screenings.
• CDA preferred but not required if state requirements are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education Safety and Supervision Manual and report incidents.
• Assist in managing and escalating child behaviors per policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
