Parklane Elementary School in Portland, Oregon seeks Educational Assistants for Preschool (6 hours/day). Four positions available, running 8:35am–3:05pm, 193 days/year. Compensation ranges from $21.29–$29.47 per hour, with benefits including PERS, medical, dental, and vision.

Start date August 26, 2026. Open until filled, with duties to assist certificated teachers in preschool instruction. Position type: Part Time.

Qualifications

• General skills in English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate preschool learning experiences.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction under teacher supervision.
• Assist with classroom setup, materials organization and maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Support communication with parents and participate in related school activities.
