Job summary

Marana Unified School District in Arizona seeks a Preschool Aide to assist with the day-to-day operation of the site Preschool, including lesson planning, staffing, parent communications, evaluation, record keeping, and DHS compliance. You will support the supervisor with scheduling, activities, and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment.

This 9-month, 40-hour/week, on-site position pays $17.87 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• CDA/ECE certificate or related college degree and/or 6 months experience with preschool children.
• First Aid and CPR certified; DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card; CBC background check; vaccinations as required by DHS.
• Equivalent combination of training, education and experience with minimum 30 training hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists supervisor with managing a classroom of students.
• Assists with scheduling needed staff to maintain teacher:student ratios.
• Assists with lesson planning and other learning activities.
• Maintains required records and files and DHS compliance.
• Assists with planning activities per Arizona Early Learning standards.
