Job Description

Preschool Cook Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must meet all state preschool cook requirements
• One year of experience in food planning, preparation, and service following USDA guidelines
• Current Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification preferred

Preschool Cook Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare minor meals, organize food and supplies, wash dishes, distribute meals to classrooms, and maintain kitchen organization and systems
• Perform additional duties as required, including laundry, cleaning equipment and toys
• This position requires lifting
