Job summary

Cherry Creek Careers is seeking an Early Childhood Education Instructor to lead an integrated preschool classroom for ages 3 to 5½. The role involves implementing individualized education programs, preparing materials, and maintaining a nurturing, compliant learning environment.

The position requires collaborating with special educators, attending IEP meetings, and supporting guardians with progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• PDIS Level 2 and First Aid/CPR certification strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor each student’s educational program.
• Supervise and evaluate classroom staff and para-educators.
• Attend IEP meetings and coordinate with special educators.
• Prepare class materials and manage daily administrative tasks.
• Oversee classroom operations, attendance, and progress notes.
• Conduct parent conferences and communicate student progress.
• Collect data for assessment and meet state reporting deadlines.
• Purchase classroom supplies and manage district guidelines.
• Participate in professional development trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
