Job summary

St. Therese Academy Preschool in San Diego, CA is seeking a part-time or full-time Preschool Aide to assist teachers with classroom preparations, supervise students, and provide support as needed. The role is non-exempt and hourly, with pay in the $18–$20/hour range.

Responsibilities include setting up materials, supervising during meals and play, assisting with nap time, and helping keep the classroom safe and clean under the Preschool Director’s guidance. Catholic school experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proof of 12+ ECE units required.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up materials and equipment for daily activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, play, and transitions.
• Assist with nap time routines and rest periods.
• Help maintain a safe, clean classroom environment through light housekeeping tasks.
• Follow lead teachers’ and director’s classroom rules.
