Job summary

CenClear is hiring for a Ferguson Township Elementary Preschool Classroom role in Pennsylvania. You’ll assist the classroom teacher, engage children aged 3–5 in play-based learning, and help with daily routines to create a safe, welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a caring attitude, and the chance to grow in early childhood education. Training and CDA path are provided by CenClear, with no evenings or weekends required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Individuals must have or be willing to obtain the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with hire. This training is paid for by CenClear.
• If an individual does not have a CDA they must be willing to attend the Highly Qualified training while pursuing a CDA within 90 days of hire.
• Someone who enjoys working with young children
• Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
• Ability to obtain required clearances prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Help support the classroom teacher and assist with daily preschool activities like:
• Helping children learn through play and structured activities
• Encouraging positive behavior and social skills
• Preparing classroom materials and keeping things organized
• Supporting children throughout the day to help them feel safe and successful
• Assisting with classroom coverage and daily routines when needed
• Maintain open communication with your supervisor.
• Attending required meetings, on-the-job training (24 per training year), and supervision.
• Monitoring and responding to work email daily
• Practicing social responsibility through timely communication and follow-up
• Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality when handling information about CenClear staff, children, parents, consumers/clients, and families
