Job summary

Northeast Michigan Community Service Agency (NEMCSA) is seeking a Preschool Classroom Aide in Lincoln, MI to help create a safe, engaging classroom for young learners. You will support development across social, emotional, cognitive, language and physical domains and partner with families to enhance readiness for kindergarten.

This active, hands-on role requires flexibility, the ability to stand and move throughout the day, and a commitment to equitable, high-quality early education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for or working with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, behavior support, and daily operations.
• Partner with families through communication, conferences, and home visits.
• Promote children's health, safety, and overall well-being.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support school readiness goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
