Job summary

NEMCSA in Michigan is seeking a Preschool Classroom Aide to help create a safe, engaging learning environment where young children can learn and grow toward kindergarten readiness.

You will support development across social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical domains, partner with families, and work with teachers and staff to promote health and safety. This is a hands-on role requiring energy and flexibility to help children succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for or working with young children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Assist with classroom activities, behavior support, and daily operations.
• Partner with families through communication, conferences, and home visits.
• Promote children’s health, safety, and overall well-being.
