Job summary

Hire Up Recruiting presents an Executive Director opportunity at a premier preschool in Lantana, TX. You will serve as the senior onsite leader, guiding the Education Director and staff, and ensuring Texas licensing compliance and high-quality family engagement.

The role oversees payroll, budgeting, and enrollment growth, while maintaining strong community partnerships to enhance the school’s reputation. A long-term leadership position with autonomy and support awaits.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or equivalent in education or related field required
• Texas Director credential required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5-7+ years as an onsite administrator in early childhood education
• 10+ years in licensed preschools
• Payroll, P&L, and school operating systems experience
• Knowledge of Texas licensing, Texas Rising Star, and NAEYC standards
• Experience managing enrollment and data-driven operational decisions
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and childcare management tools
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Driver's license and ability to pass background check

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior onsite leader of the school and its public face in the community
• Develop and support the Education Director, Program Coordinator, and teaching staff
• Oversee recruitment, scheduling, and classroom staffing
• Ensure Texas licensing compliance and lead to Texas Rising Star 4-star standards
• Manage monthly P&L and operating expenses within budget
• Run payroll and manage tuition billing in childcare software
• Oversee facility quality, safety standards, and vendor relations
• Conduct parent tours and convert enrollment leads into enrolled families
• Lead marketing and build partnerships to grow enrollment and reputation
• Partner with Education Director on curriculum quality and teacher coaching
