Job summary

Rising Star Preschool in Lakeside, CA seeks a dedicated Early Childhood Center Director – Preschool Administrator for a full-time role, Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM. The position offers competitive hourly pay of $27–$28 and meaningful opportunities to lead a nonprofit preschool serving 0–5.

You will oversee daily operations, ensure licensing compliance, support staff, guide curriculum, partner with families, and manage enrollment and budgets in a safe, welcoming learning environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field.
• Meets California Community Care Licensing (CCL) requirements for a Preschool Center Director.
• Experience as a preschool director or site supervisor in a licensed childcare center.
• Knowledge of California Title 22 and Title 5 regulations.
• Strong leadership and family engagement skills.
• Familiarity with enrollment management, budgeting, and program growth.
