Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Center Director in California to lead daily operations, support staff development, and ensure compliance with licensing standards. You will promote a warm, educational environment that engages families and guides children’s growth.

This role emphasizes recruiting and retaining strong staff, implementing curriculum with coaching, and building strong partnerships with the local community to advance student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CDA, associate, or bachelor's degree preferred in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead school staff with planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing improvement plans.
• Ensure the school operates in accordance with licensing standards and maintains community partnerships.
• Spark imagination and foster a safe, educational environment for children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
