Job summary

Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. in Norwalk seeks a CDA Specialist to assist 1–2 classrooms with routines, curriculum, meals and activities for preschool and/or infant/toddler children.

Under supervision of Lead Teachers and Education Services Professional, you will help implement Head Start functions while meeting health and eligibility requirements. Full-time or hourly part-time options are available with benefits.

Qualifications

• Entry level position; childcare experience preferred.
• CDA certification or plan to obtain within 1 year is required (employer paid).
• Basic computer skills including email and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist 1–2 classrooms in planning and implementing routines and curriculum.
• Support meals, activities, and transitions for preschool and infant/toddler ages.
• Work under Lead Teachers and Education Services Professional guidance.
